तस्मात्सतीति संजज्ञ इयमिन्दीवरेक्षणा । यजतस्तस्य देवेश तव मानावखण्डनात्

tasmātsatīti saṃjajña iyamindīvarekṣaṇā | yajatastasya deveśa tava mānāvakhaṇḍanāt

C’est pourquoi cette Déesse aux yeux de lotus fut connue sous le nom de Satī. Ô Seigneur des dieux, car, tandis qu’il accomplissait le sacrifice, ton honneur fut insulté et brisé.
