Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 108

सपत्नीकं गुरुं रक्तवाससी परिधापयेत् । अन्यांश्च ऋत्विजः शक्त्या गुरुं केयूरकङ्कणैः

sapatnīkaṃ guruṃ raktavāsasī paridhāpayet | anyāṃśca ṛtvijaḥ śaktyā guruṃ keyūrakaṅkaṇaiḥ

Qu’on revête le précepteur, avec son épouse, de vêtements rouges ; et, selon ses moyens, qu’on honore aussi les autres prêtres, en offrant au guru des bracelets de bras et des bracelets de poignet.
