विलक्षा व्रीडिता देवा गत्वा नारायणं तदा । अब्रुवन् वैश्वरूपं नो शक्ता दर्शयितुं वयम्
vilakṣā vrīḍitā devā gatvā nārāyaṇaṃ tadā | abruvan vaiśvarūpaṃ no śaktā darśayituṃ vayam
Déconcertés et honteux, les dieux allèrent alors vers Nārāyaṇa et dirent : « Nous ne sommes pas capables de manifester la Forme universelle (Vaiśvarūpa). »
