मार्कण्डेय उवाच । आदिकल्पे पुरा राजन्क्षीरोदे भगवान् हरिः । शेते स भोगिशयने योगनिद्राविमोहितः
mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | ādikalpe purā rājankṣīrode bhagavān hariḥ | śete sa bhogiśayane yoganidrāvimohitaḥ
Mārkaṇḍeya dit : « Dans le kalpa primordial, ô roi, le Seigneur bienheureux Hari reposait sur l’Océan de Lait (Kṣīroda), étendu sur la couche du Serpent, absorbé dans le sommeil yogique. »
