पावनाय जगद्धेतोः स्थितो यस्माच्छशिप्रभः । अतस्तु नृपशार्दूल श्वेत इत्याभिधीयते

pāvanāya jagaddhetoḥ sthito yasmācchaśiprabhaḥ | atastu nṛpaśārdūla śveta ityābhidhīyate

Parce que, pour la purification—du Seigneur, cause du monde—il demeure là, rayonnant d’un éclat lunaire ; ainsi, ô tigre parmi les rois, il est nommé « Śveta » (le Blanc).
