Tirtha: Śrī-sambandha kṣetra within Revā region (implied)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Bhṛgu
Scene: Īśvara gently corrects Bhṛgu: the work was already accomplished by Śrī; he instructs Bhṛgu to honor Śrī-devī appropriately.
Dharma requires recognizing prior divine agency and offering due honor to Śrī; sacred authority is upheld through reverence.
The Revā (Narmadā) sacred landscape is the narrative backdrop; the focus is on legitimizing a holy establishment connected with Śrī.
A prescription of conduct is given: to ‘honor’ (anumānya) the goddess Śrī—i.e., respectful worship/acknowledgment.
