Transliteration

dadṛśuḥ śūlamārūḍhaṃ māṇḍavyamṛṣipuṃgavāḥ | procurnārāyaṇaṃ vipraṃ kiṃ kurmastava cepsitam

Translation

Les plus éminents des sages virent Māṇḍavya dressé sur le pieu. Ils s’adressèrent à Nārāyaṇa, le brāhmane : «Que devons-nous faire ? Quel est ton désir ?»
