तस्मिंस्तीर्थे नरः स्नात्वा पापकर्मापि भारत । न पश्यति महाघोरं नरकद्वारसंज्ञिकम्

tasmiṃstīrthe naraḥ snātvā pāpakarmāpi bhārata | na paśyati mahāghoraṃ narakadvārasaṃjñikam

Ô Bhārata, même un homme chargé d’actes pécheurs—après s’être baigné en ce gué sacré—ne voit pas le lieu extrêmement terrible nommé la «Porte de l’Enfer».
