विहिंसमाना भूतानि चर्वमाणाचरानपि । तत्तद्गन्धमुपादाय शिवारावविराविणी

vihiṃsamānā bhūtāni carvamāṇācarānapi | tattadgandhamupādāya śivārāvavirāviṇī

Elle tourmentait les êtres et mâchait même les immobiles; saisissant leurs parfums variés, elle rugissait de cris pareils à ceux de Śiva.
