ततस्तुष्टो महादेवः कृतस्यार्द्धे गते तदा । अनुरूपेण राजेन्द्र युगस्य परमेश्वरः
tatastuṣṭo mahādevaḥ kṛtasyārddhe gate tadā | anurūpeṇa rājendra yugasya parameśvaraḥ
Alors, lorsque la moitié du Kṛta-yuga fut écoulée, Mahādeva—le Souverain suprême de cet âge—fut satisfait, ô roi, et se manifesta sous une forme conforme à ce temps.
