Transliteration

sarpā ūcuḥ | yathā tvaṃ jananī devi pannagānāṃ matā bhuvi | tathāpi sā viśeṣeṇa vañcitavyā na karhicit

Translation

Les serpents dirent : «Bien que sur la terre tu sois tenue pour notre mère, ô Déesse, pourtant elle ne doit jamais être trompée, surtout en aucun temps.»
