अथवा भक्तियुक्तस्तु तेषां दान्ते जितेन्द्रिये । संस्कृत्य ददते भिक्षां फलं तस्य ततोऽधिकम्

athavā bhaktiyuktastu teṣāṃ dānte jitendriye | saṃskṛtya dadate bhikṣāṃ phalaṃ tasya tato'dhikam

Ou bien, si quelqu’un, animé de dévotion, offre une aumône soigneusement préparée à ces ascètes disciplinés, maîtres de leurs sens, le fruit de cet acte est encore supérieur à celui décrit plus haut.
