Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 35

पितृदेवमनुष्याणां कृत्वा ह्युदकतर्पणम् । मन्दिरे देवदेवस्य ततः पूजां समाचरेत्

pitṛdevamanuṣyāṇāṃ kṛtvā hyudakatarpaṇam | mandire devadevasya tataḥ pūjāṃ samācaret

Après avoir offert l’udaka-tarpaṇa, les libations d’eau, aux ancêtres, aux dieux et aux êtres humains, qu’il accomplisse ensuite dûment le culte dans le temple du Dieu des dieux.
