तेषां मतमनादृत्य यदि वर्तेत कामतः । स मृतो जायते श्वा वै गतिरूर्ध्वा न विद्यते

Transliteration

teṣāṃ matamanādṛtya yadi varteta kāmataḥ | sa mṛto jāyate śvā vai gatirūrdhvā na vidyate

Translation

Mais si, méprisant leur règle établie, quelqu’un agit selon le seul désir, alors, après la mort, il renaît vraiment en chien ; pour lui, il n’est point de voie ascendante vers les mondes supérieurs.
