कृषिगोरक्ष्यवाणिज्यैः शूद्रसेवाकरे द्विजे । ततोऽभिनन्दयामासुः सर्वे देवा महर्षयः

kṛṣigorakṣyavāṇijyaiḥ śūdrasevākare dvije | tato'bhinandayāmāsuḥ sarve devā maharṣayaḥ

Lorsqu’un homme deux fois né se voua à l’agriculture, à la garde du bétail et au négoce, ainsi qu’au service rendu aux Śūdras, alors tous les dieux et les grands ṛṣis manifestèrent leur approbation.
