Type: kshetra
Listener: Pāṇḍunandana / Pārtha
Scene: A childless woman at the riverbank performs snāna with folded hands facing the Manmatheśa shrine; a vision of a virtuous child (satya-saṅgha, dṛḍha-vrata) is suggested as a gentle future scene.
The Purāṇas present tīrtha-sevā as grace-bearing, capable of transforming personal suffering into dharmic blessing.
Manmatheśa tīrtha, where bathing is said to grant progeny.
Snāna (bathing) at the tīrtha as a remedial and devotional observance.
