ऋषयश्च महाभागा वर्णाश्चान्ये पृथग्विधाः । सीदन्ति भूम्यां सहिता ये चान्ये तलवासिनः
ṛṣayaśca mahābhāgā varṇāścānye pṛthagvidhāḥ | sīdanti bhūmyāṃ sahitā ye cānye talavāsinaḥ
Les ṛṣis magnanimes, et d’autres groupes d’êtres de conditions diverses—avec ceux qui demeurent dans les régions d’en bas—tous ensemble s’affaissent sur la terre, accablés de détresse.
