Transliteration jánayatyai tvā saṃyáumī́dam agnér idám agnīṣómayor iṣé tvā gharmó ’si viśvā́yur astvā savitā́ śrápayatu várṣiṣṭhe ’dhí nā́ke
Translation Pour la génération je t’attelle : ceci est d’Agni, ceci est d’Agni et de Soma ; pour la nourriture je te saisis. Tu es le Gharma ; qu’il y ait pour toi la vie universelle. Que Savitar te cuise sur la plus haute voûte du ciel.
