Śiva’s Freedom from Bondage and His Cosmic Support (शिवस्य अबन्धत्वं तथा सर्वाधिष्ठानत्वम्)
यस्मात्परं नापरमस्ति किंचिद्यस्मान्नाणीयो न ज्यायो ऽस्ति किंचित् । वृक्ष इव स्तब्धो दिवि तिष्ठत्येकस्तेनेदं पूर्णं पुरुषेण सर्वम्
yasmātparaṃ nāparamasti kiṃcidyasmānnāṇīyo na jyāyo 'sti kiṃcit | vṛkṣa iva stabdho divi tiṣṭhatyekastenedaṃ pūrṇaṃ puruṣeṇa sarvam
Au-delà de Lui, rien n’est plus haut, et en dehors de Lui, rien n’existe. Rien n’est plus subtil ni plus grand que Lui. Tel un arbre immobile, l’Unique demeure établi dans l’étendue céleste ; par ce Puruṣa suprême, tout cet univers est entièrement pénétré et rendu plénier.
