भवद्भिर्दीर्घसत्रेण चिरमाराधितः प्रभुः । प्रसादाभिमुखो भूत इति भुतार्थसूचितम्
bhavadbhirdīrghasatreṇa ciramārādhitaḥ prabhuḥ | prasādābhimukho bhūta iti bhutārthasūcitam
«Par vous, au moyen d’une longue session sacrificielle, le Seigneur a été adoré durant longtemps. À présent, Il s’est tourné vers l’octroi de la grâce»—ainsi fut révélé le sens véritable de l’événement.

Sthala Purana: The verse frames the culmination of prolonged worship as Śiva’s turning toward prasāda (grace). In the Kāśī/Viśvanātha milieu of the Vāyavīya narrative, the ‘turning toward grace’ is read as the Lord’s readiness to grant mokṣa to those who approach His liṅga-tejas with steadfast observance.
Significance: Darśana and worship oriented to Śiva’s prasāda are portrayed as accelerating purification and readiness for liberation; Kāśī is traditionally held to bestow taraka-upadeśa and mokṣa.
It highlights the Shaiva Siddhanta principle of anugraha (divine grace): sustained worship ripens the devotee, and then Pati (Śiva) turns toward bestowing liberation-giving favor.
It affirms that devoted, continuous ārādhana of Saguna Śiva (often through Liṅga worship and ritual service) culminates in prasāda—Śiva’s responsive, compassionate turning toward the worshipper.
Steady long-term worship: regular pūjā/abhisheka, japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and disciplined vrata-like continuity—performed with devotion until grace becomes manifest.
