FAQs

The verse emphasizes that grace flows through obedience to the divine ordinance of Śiva-Śakti, and that humble devotion—especially reverence to the Goddess’s feet—becomes a channel for receiving what is truly beneficial for the seeker.

It reflects Saguna devotion: the devotee relies on the personal, gracious aspect of the Divine Couple. In Shaiva practice, such bhakti complements Linga worship—honoring Śiva as Pati and Śakti as His inseparable power—so that worship becomes relational and grace-centered, not merely ritualistic.

The key takeaway is pāda-pūjā (reverent service to the divine feet) expressed through daily pūjā, mantra-japa (especially the Panchākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and a disciplined attitude of following Śiva’s command (ājñā) as a lived vow.
