अग्निकार्य-होमविधिः

Agnikārya and Homa Procedure

ततस्स्वयं च भुंजीत शुद्धमन्नं यथासुखम् । निवेदितं च वा देवे तच्छेषं चात्मशुद्धये

tatassvayaṃ ca bhuṃjīta śuddhamannaṃ yathāsukham | niveditaṃ ca vā deve taccheṣaṃ cātmaśuddhaye

Ensuite, que l’on prenne soi-même une nourriture pure, paisiblement et sans trouble. Ou bien que l’on mange le reste de ce qui a d’abord été offert à la Divinité, car ce saint reste (prasāda) purifie l’être intérieur.

It teaches that inner purity is supported by outer discipline: eating śuddha (pure) food and especially consuming what is first offered to Shiva (prasāda) helps cleanse the mind and align the soul (paśu) toward Pati, the Lord.
