शिवतेजोमयस्यास्य शिशोरापादयेद्गुणान् । अणिमादीन्प्रसीदेति प्रदद्यादाहुतित्रयम्
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Mantra: prasīda (uttered as a grace-invoking refrain during āhuti)
Shakti Form: Kālī
Role: destructive
It frames the devotee’s vision as Śiva-centric: seeing the being (here, a child) as infused with Śiva’s tejas, and seeking not mere power but Śiva’s prasāda (grace) through disciplined ritual and reverent invocation.
The verse reflects Saguna upāsanā—approaching Śiva through tangible rites (āhuti) and devotional speech (“prasīda”), while acknowledging His immanent presence as radiance within the worshipped subject.
A yajña-style practice of offering three oblations while praying for Śiva’s grace, coupled with a contemplative recognition of Śiva’s tejas and an invocation of yogic excellences (aṇimā and related siddhis) under divine sanction.
