Maṇḍala–Pūjā–Homa Krama
Maṇḍala Worship and Homa Sequence for the Disciple
बुद्ध्वा तं हृदयांभोजे देवमावाह्य पूजयेत् । आशास्य नित्यसांनिध्यं शिवस्वात्म्यं शिशौ गुरुः
buddhvā taṃ hṛdayāṃbhoje devamāvāhya pūjayet | āśāsya nityasāṃnidhyaṃ śivasvātmyaṃ śiśau guruḥ
L’ayant compris, qu’on invoque cette Divinité dans le lotus du cœur et qu’on l’adore. Le Guru, instruisant le disciple, doit prier pour la présence constante du Seigneur et pour que le disciple réalise son identité avec Śiva.

It teaches antaryāga (inner worship): realizing Śiva, invoking Him into the heart-lotus, and seeking His unbroken presence—through which the disciple matures toward liberation by Śiva’s grace.
Just as the Liṅga is ritually invoked and worshiped externally, this verse prescribes the same principle internally—installing Saguna Śiva in the heart for steady devotion that culminates in realization of Śiva-nature.
Manasa-pūjā and dhyāna: invoke Śiva into the heart-lotus, worship with mental offerings (often supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and pray for nitya-sāṃnidhya (constant divine presence).
