Ensuite, qu’on contemple clairement la pénétration (vyāpti) commençant par Mala et s’étendant à travers les principes (tattvas). Ayant offert en oblation la pénétration des Kalā dans Mala et le reste, qu’on attise et réveille les Kalā.
Suta Goswami (narrating the Vāyavīyasaṃhitā teaching to the sages at Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: rudram
Role: liberating
Offering: naivedya
It teaches a Shaiva Siddhanta-style inner practice: discern the soul’s bondage (mala) and the spread of reality through tattvas, then perform an inner “offering” that dissolves bondage and awakens the soul’s divine faculties (kalās) toward liberation under Śiva’s grace.
In Linga-worship and Saguna Śiva-upāsanā, the meditator recognizes Śiva as the all-pervading Pati beyond mala and tattvas; this verse frames that recognition as vyāpti-dhyāna and inner oblation—offering limitations into the presence of Śiva symbolized by the Linga.
A meditative ‘inner homa’: contemplate pervasion from mala through tattvas, mentally offer the kalā-vyāpti into mala (dissolving bonds), and kindle the kalās—supported by japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and focused dhyāna on Śiva as the indwelling Reality.
