FAQs

It describes how outer worship (three oblations and flower-casting) is joined to inner transformation by ritually awakening divine presence within the disciple’s heart—aligning the soul (paśu) toward the Lord (Pati) and loosening bondage (pāśa).

The procedure reflects Saguna worship—invoking and establishing a tangible presence of the Divine for the disciple—so that devotion and ritual become a doorway to realizing Shiva’s indwelling grace beyond mere external forms.

A consecratory rite akin to initiation: offer a threefold āhuti, invoke/establish the deity’s presence, touch or tap the disciple’s heart as a seal of inner awakening, and confirm the rite through puṣpakṣepa (flower casting) as done earlier.
