Les transformations de l’instrument intérieur (mental, intellect, ego et mémoire) sont les signes de la béatitude et de la connaissance éveillée : tremblements, chair de poule, altération de la voix, larmes aux yeux et autres réactions du corps.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Significance: Gives experiential criteria for authentic transformation; helps pilgrims distinguish genuine bhāva born of grace from mere display, supporting ethical and spiritual integrity in devotional communities.
Role: teaching
It teaches that when Shiva’s grace ripens devotion and meditation, inner realization (bodha) and bliss (ānanda) manifest through discernible changes in the mind and even the body—showing the devotee’s consciousness is being purified and uplifted toward liberation.
In Linga worship, the devotee concentrates on Saguna Shiva as the accessible form of the Supreme; as devotion deepens, the mind’s modifications become sattvic and may overflow into visible devotional symptoms, indicating the heart is turning toward Shiva as Pati (Lord) and away from pasha (bondage).
Steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with Linga-dhyāna, along with purity practices like Tripuṇḍra bhasma and Rudrāksha (where traditional), is implied as the kind of worship that matures into inner bliss and awakened knowledge.
