शिवे निविष्टचित्तानां प्रतिष्ठितधियां सताम् । परत्रेह च सर्वत्र निर्वृतिः परमा भवेत्

Significance: Establishes the fruit of Śiva-niṣṭhā: nirvṛti (supreme repose) in both iha and paratra; supports the pilgrim ideal that inner absorption is the highest tīrtha.
It teaches that when the mind is steadily absorbed in Pati (Śiva) and the intellect is established in right understanding, the devotee attains nirvṛti—supreme peace—both in worldly life and after death, indicating liberation from pāśa (bondage).
Absorption in Śiva can be cultivated through Saguna worship such as Liṅga-pūjā, where the devotee fixes the mind on Śiva’s presence; that steady focus matures into inner realization, yielding peace everywhere.
