Inquiry into the Expansion of Śiva’s Vibhūti

Cosmic Event: Āvirbhāva (theophany) of Śiva with Umā and gaṇas for vara-pradāna.
It highlights Shiva’s compassion: though transcendent, He manifests in an auspicious, perceivable (saguṇa) form—along with the Divine Mother and His gaṇas—specifically to bless devotees and remove obstacles through grace.
The verse emphasizes saguṇa-darśana—Shiva’s approachable, formful presence for granting boons. In practice, the Liṅga is worshipped as the stable sacred focus through which the same Hara makes Himself accessible and bestows grace.
Approach Shiva with bhakti and reverence—perform Liṅga-pūjā with mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and contemplative remembrance of Shiva as Hara, the remover, who appears to bless.
