सत्रप्रवृत्तिः — वायोः आगमनं च
Commencement of the Satra and the Arrival of Vāyu
मुनय ऊचुः । अद्य नः कुशलं सर्वमद्य साधु भवेत्तपः । अस्मच्छ्रेयोभिवृद्ध्यर्थं भवानत्रागतो यतः
munaya ūcuḥ | adya naḥ kuśalaṃ sarvamadya sādhu bhavettapaḥ | asmacchreyobhivṛddhyarthaṃ bhavānatrāgato yataḥ
Les sages dirent : «Aujourd’hui tout est prospère pour nous ; aujourd’hui notre austérité (tapas) a vraiment porté un bon fruit, puisque vous êtes venu ici pour accroître notre bien suprême.»

It teaches that tapas (disciplined spiritual effort) reaches fulfillment when it leads to satsanga—meeting a worthy teacher or narrator—because such contact increases śreyas, the highest spiritual good oriented toward Shiva-realization.
