Inquiry into Pramāṇa, Divine Autonomy, and Grace

Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Role: liberating
It distinguishes Pati (Śiva) as ever-free from bondage, while locating bondage in the jīva’s own inherent impurity (mala), which must be purified for liberation.
Linga-worship approaches Saguna Śiva as the compassionate Lord who, though untouched by bondage, grants grace that removes the soul’s impurity and loosens pasha (bondage).
Regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with inner contemplation—seeing bondage as the soul’s mala and seeking Śiva’s grace for purification—is the key takeaway.
