सत्याः पुनस्तपश्चर्या — Satī’s Return to Austerity (Tapas) and Fearless Liṅga-Worship

निशुंभशुंभनामानौ दैत्यौ दत्तवरौ मया । दृप्तौ देवान्प्रबाधेते त्वत्तो लब्धस्तयोर्वधः

niśuṃbhaśuṃbhanāmānau daityau dattavarau mayā | dṛptau devānprabādhete tvatto labdhastayorvadhaḥ

Deux démons nommés Niśumbha et Śumbha—à qui j’ai accordé des dons—s’enorgueillissent et tourmentent les dieux. Mais leur mise à mort a été obtenue de Toi ; c’est de Toi seule que s’accomplira leur destruction.
