शिवतत्त्ववर्णनम् (Śiva-tattva-varṇana) — “Description/Exposition of the Principle of Śiva”
यथा च ज्योतिषस्संगाज्जलादेः स्पर्शता न वै । तथा ममागुणस्यापि संयोगाद्बन्धनं न हि
yathā ca jyotiṣassaṃgājjalādeḥ sparśatā na vai | tathā mamāguṇasyāpi saṃyogādbandhanaṃ na hi
De même que, par leur proximité avec la lumière, l’eau et les autres choses ne la «touchent» pas réellement, ainsi pour Moi—au-delà des guṇas—il n’existe aucun lien né du simple contact ou de la seule association.
