Viṣṇu’s Manifestation and Brahmā’s Hymn

It teaches that liberation-oriented life begins by dropping misguided views and taking śaraṇāgati (refuge) in Śiva; His grace then manifests as śānti and śivatva (auspicious well-being).
“Bhaja Śambhum” supports saguna upāsanā—devotional worship of Śiva as the beneficent Lord, commonly approached through Śiva-liṅga worship as a concrete focus for surrender and grace.
Wholehearted bhajana implies daily Śiva-pūjā with mantra-japa (especially Pañcākṣarī: Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and a surrendered attitude; if practiced, bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa can support steadiness in devotion.
