Lord Shiva (inferred, within Rudrasaṃhitā narrative dialogue)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Ardhanārīśvara
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
The verse highlights Shiva’s sovereign śāsana (divine ordinance): when the Supreme Lord wills, cosmic order is restored and the devas experience well-being. In Shaiva Siddhanta terms, this points to Pati (Shiva) as the ultimate governor whose grace and command remove distress and establish auspiciousness.
It supports Saguna Shiva worship by portraying Shiva as an active Lord who commands and blesses. Linga worship is a direct way to approach this governing, grace-bestowing aspect of Shiva—seeking his ājñā (command) to harmonize one’s life and dharma.
A practical takeaway is ājñā-smaraṇa—remembering Shiva as the inner ruler—paired with japa of the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and simple daily Linga pūjā with vibhūti (Tripuṇḍra) as a sign of surrender to Shiva’s command.
