सद्यो अध्वरे रथिरं जनन्त मानुषासो विचेतसो य एषाम् । विशामधायि विश्पतिर्दुरोणेऽग्निर्मन्द्रो मधुवचा ऋतावा ॥

Transliteration

sadyó adhvaré rathiráṁ jananta mā́nuṣāso vi-cétaso yá eṣām | viśā́m adhāyi viśpátir duroṇé'gnír mandró mádhuvacā ṛtā́vā ||

Translation

Aussitôt, dans le sacrifice, les mortels clairvoyants font naître le char rapide du chemin. Agni est établi dans la demeure comme seigneur des peuples — joyeux, aux paroles de miel, gardien du Ṛta.
