न दक्षिणा वि चिकिते न सव्या न प्राचीनमादित्या नोत पश्चा । पाक्या चिद्वसवो धीर्या चिद्युष्मानीतो अभयं ज्योतिरश्याम् ॥

ná dakṣiṇā́ ví cikite ná savyā́ ná prācī́nam ādityā́ nóta paścā́ | pā́kyā cid vasavo dhī́ryā cid yuṣmā́nīto abháyaṃ jyótiḥ aśyām ||

On ne discerne ni la droite ni la gauche; ni l’orient, ô Āditya, ni l’occident. Même par un esprit enfantin, même par un esprit sage — guidé par vous, ô Vasu, puissé-je atteindre la Lumière sans crainte.
