एवा त इन्द्रोचथमहेम श्रवस्या न त्मना वाजयन्तः । अश्याम तत्साप्तमाशुषाणा ननमो वधरदेवस्य पीयोः ॥

Transliteration

evā́ ta indrocátham ahema śravasyā́ ná tmanā́ vājáyantaḥ | aśyā́ma tát sā́ptam āśuṣāṇā́ nanámo vádhar ádevasya pīyóḥ ||

Translation

Ainsi, ô Indra, dirons-nous ta louange pour la renommée, luttant par nous-mêmes afin de gagner les plénitudes. Puissions-nous atteindre ce Septième (pas/domaine), nous ruant en avant ; que l’arme de l’impie, la force ennemie qui enfle, s’incline devant nous.
