यो अध्वरेषु शंतम ऋतावा होता तमू नमोभिरा कृणुध्वम् । अग्निर्यद्वेर्मर्ताय देवान्त्स चा बोधाति मनसा यजाति ॥
Transliteration
yo adhvaréṣu śáṃtama ṛtā́vā hótā tám ū́ námo bhir ā́ kṛṇudhvam | agnír yád vér mártāya devā́ntsá cā bódhāti mánasā yajāti ||
Translation
Celui qui, dans les parcours du sacrifice, est le plus dispensateur de paix, le Hotṛ gardien du ṛta — faites-le vôtre par des hommages. Car lorsque Agni, en vérité, choisit et gagne les dieux pour le mortel, il éveille aussi la conscience et sacrifie par l’esprit.
