Sukta 1.33
अयुयुत्सन्ननवद्यस्य सेनामयातयन्त क्षितयो नवग्वाः । वृषायुधो न वध्रयो निरष्टाः प्रवद्भिरिन्द्राच्चितयन्त आयन् ॥
áyuyutsan anavadyásya sénām áyātayanta kṣitáyo návagvāḥ | vṛṣāyúdho ná vádhrayo nír aṣṭāḥ pravádbhir índrāc citáyanta ā́yan ||
Ils ne tinrent pas devant l’armée de l’Irréprochable ; les peuples établis, les Navagva, les chassèrent de leur place. Tels des guerriers aux bras de taureau, tels des châtrés rejetés dehors, ils s’en allèrent — glissant vers le bas des pentes — redoutant jusqu’à la présence et la puissance d’Indra.
