भरतस्य मातृसदनगमनं कैकेय्या दारुणवृत्तान्तकथनं च

न नूनं मां महाराजः प्राप्तं जानाति कीर्तिमान्।
उपजिघ्रेद्धि मूर्ध्नि तात स्सन्नम्य सत्वरम्।।2.72.30।।
na nūnaṃ māṃ mahārājaḥ prāptaṃ jānāti kīrtimān |
upajighred dhi mūrdhni tātaḥ sannamya satvaram || 2.72.30 ||
Sans doute le maharaja illustre ne sait-il pas que je suis arrivé ; car mon père se serait vite penché pour baiser mon front.
Surely the illustrious maharaja is not aware of my arrival. Otherwise he would have quickly bent my head and kissed me on my forehead.
