Pitṛmātṛtīrtha Greatness & the Discourse on Embodiment: Karma, Birth, Impurity, and Dispassion

देहानुगो मलः पूतिस्तदाधारः कथं शुचिः । देहः संशोध्यमानोपि पंचगव्यकुशांबुभिः

dehānugo malaḥ pūtistadādhāraḥ kathaṃ śuciḥ | dehaḥ saṃśodhyamānopi paṃcagavyakuśāṃbubhiḥ

La souillure et la puanteur accompagnent le corps ; comment ce qui en est le support même pourrait-il être pur ? Même si le corps est lavé avec le pañcagavya et avec l’eau sanctifiée par l’herbe kuśa, (son impureté n’est pas réellement ôtée).
