FAQs

It denotes the entire living world as two broad classes: immovable beings (sthāvara, like trees and plants) and movable beings (jaṅgama, like animals and humans).

It teaches that correct understanding of the process of creation (bhūta-sarga) sanctifies one’s perception of the world, making the whole experienced cosmos a source of merit for the knower.

Right knowledge is presented as transformative: when one understands existence properly, one relates to all beings reverentially and dharmically, and that orientation itself is counted as puṇya.
