Tīrtha-vidhi (Procedure for Holy Places) — Prayāgarāja-māhātmya
अहंकारविमुक्तश्च स तीर्थफलमाप्नुयात । अकल्पको निरारम्भो लघ्वाहारो जितेंद्रियः ॥ १४ ॥
ahaṃkāravimuktaśca sa tīrthaphalamāpnuyāta | akalpako nirārambho laghvāhāro jiteṃdriyaḥ || 14 ||
Celui qui s’est affranchi de l’ego obtient véritablement le fruit du pèlerinage au tīrtha. Vivant sans artifice, sans entreprendre de nouveaux commencements, se nourrissant légèrement et ayant vaincu les sens, il reçoit le bénéfice réel du gué sacré.
