The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra
Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
वक्त्रे मूर्धादिषु न्यस्य भूयोऽङ्गानि प्रकल्पयेत् । तारपंचकमुच्चार्य सर्वज्ञाय हृदीरितम् ॥ ५८ ॥
vaktre mūrdhādiṣu nyasya bhūyo'ṅgāni prakalpayet | tārapaṃcakamuccārya sarvajñāya hṛdīritam || 58 ||
Après avoir posé (le mantra) par nyāsa sur la bouche, la tête et les autres parties, qu’il rétablisse encore les aṅga-nyāsa. Ayant proféré le ‘tāra’ en cinq formes, qu’il récite du cœur le mantra adressé au Seigneur Omniscient.

It teaches internalizing the mantra through nyāsa—installing sacred sound in the body and finally reciting it ‘from the heart,’ so worship becomes embodied and inward, directed to the Omniscient Lord.
By making the mantra reside in mouth, head, limbs, and heart, devotion is practiced as continuous remembrance (smaraṇa) and reverent recitation, transforming the practitioner into a living seat of the Lord’s name.
It highlights śikṣā-style precision in mantra utterance and ritual procedure (nyāsa/āṅga-nyāsa), emphasizing correct placement, sequencing, and recitation of the tāra syllables.
