En offrant le homa avec des lotus bleus enduits de ghee, on obtient le résultat désiré. Et en faisant des oblations avec des lotus kahlāra enduits de même, on devient cher au roi.
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada within the Vedanga/ritual-results discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It teaches the phala (result) doctrine of Vedic ritual: specific, ghee-consecrated offerings (dravya) used in homa are said to yield corresponding outcomes—fulfillment of wishes and attainment of royal favor.
While primarily a karma-kāṇḍa (ritual) instruction, it implies the bhāva of intentional offering—one approaches sacred fire with a focused sankalpa; in the broader Narada Purana frame, such acts are ideally aligned with reverence to the divine and dharmic aims.
It highlights ritual-technical know-how—selection of offering substances and correct havana procedure—typical of Vedanga-aligned applied ritual science (kalpa-style guidance) emphasizing material specificity and stated results.
