Écoute maintenant sa préparation—à sa dégustation, l’esprit se fond et s’apaise : on peut le faire avec des raisins, ou avec le fruit du dattier (khārjūra), ou même avec des fleurs.
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames a technical preparation as spiritually functional: a properly made, ritually appropriate substance—when tasted in the intended way—supports manolaya (settling/absorption of the mind), aligning sensory experience with disciplined practice.
Bhakti here is implied through sanctifying ordinary materials (fruit/flowers) into purposeful offerings; devotion is expressed by careful preparation and regulated enjoyment, turning taste into a supportive aid for inner absorption rather than distraction.
It reflects applied ritual-technical knowledge—selection of dravya (materials) and method of preparation—typical of the Narada Purana’s Third Pada emphasis on procedural sciences used in worship and rites.
