Mais si, dans ces trois oblations, l’on offre successivement et selon l’ordre prescrit le ghee, le pāyasa (riz au lait) et le lait, alors on devient aussi ministre d’un roi, doté de longue vie, de santé sans maladie et de prospérité.
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It emphasizes the Narada Purana’s karma-kāṇḍa principle that correctly ordered fire-offerings (homa) produce specific, tangible results—here, longevity, health, prosperity, and social authority—when performed with proper materials and sequence.
This verse is primarily ritual-and-result oriented rather than explicitly bhakti-centered; however, it indirectly supports devotion by presenting Vedic offerings as disciplined acts of reverence that can stabilize one’s life, making sustained dharma and worship easier.
It highlights procedural ritual knowledge—especially the importance of krama (sequence) in homa—reflecting applied Kalpa (ritual methodology) and the technical precision expected in Vedic rites.
