Nityā-paṭala-prakaraṇa

The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala

शुक्रवारेष्वपि तथा वर्षान्नृपसमो भवेत् । पंचम्यां तु विशेषेण प्राग्वद्धोमं समाचरेत् ॥ ११९ ॥

śukravāreṣvapi tathā varṣānnṛpasamo bhavet | paṃcamyāṃ tu viśeṣeṇa prāgvaddhomaṃ samācaret || 119 ||

De même, si l’on accomplit aussi cette observance les vendredis, durant une année entière, on devient l’égal d’un roi. Mais, tout particulièrement au tithi de Pañcamī (cinquième jour lunaire), on doit accomplir le homa exactement selon la prescription antérieure.
