Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
The verse functions as a dhyāna (meditative visualization) marker: contemplating a multi-faced, three-eyed, many-armed divine form steadies the mind and aligns worship with śāstric iconography, making the ritual and mantra-practice more focused and potent.
Bhakti here is expressed through attentive remembrance (smaraṇa) and visualization (dhyāna) of the deity’s auspicious attributes—smiling lotus-like faces, tri-netra awareness, and many arms symbolizing divine capability—helping the devotee cultivate reverence and one-pointedness.
It highlights practical upāsanā-vidhi used in ritual manuals: accurate dhyāna-lakṣaṇa (iconographic specification) that supports correct mantra application and ceremonial procedure—an applied, technical aspect often paired with śikṣā (recitation discipline) and kalpa (ritual method).
